It all started in 2005 when…

local entrepreneur, Kirby Erdely, decided to combine his passion for wood working with his eye for design. KE Designs was born. As the business grew so did the crew.

In 2007 Kirby brought on Finn Norris-Gray, a new comer to The Gorge with decades of carpentry experience, and a newly founded general contracting business. The KE Designs installation team developed an outstanding reputation for an eye for quality and detail. As the years went by many members of the crew struck out on their own ventures.

By 2012 Finn had taken over the role of lead installer and crew manager. For years Finn and Kirby collaborated on countless projects throughout the gorge.

In 2018 Kirby realized that, with a toddler and another fledgling business, KE Designs was going to take more time than he had to offer. With over a decades experience installing countless projects, it was only natural that Finn take over. Having an inherent eye for design, aptitude for computer software, and extensive knowledge of the product offerings, the transition went seamlessly.

2020 has been a crazy year! Although KE designs has seen a slump in the midst of all the uncertainty, we have always been focused on being a low overhead business. This has and will allow us to continue to offer premium personal service at a reasonable price. We look forward to many more years serving this exceptional community.
